Mission

A seat at
the table

Bastion Companies is a Black-owned, minority-owned business committed to expanding opportunity in the communities we serve. We bring people and businesses together to create jobs, strengthen local partnerships, and help minority-owned companies take part in meaningful projects.

As an MWBE company, Bastion is focused on joint venture partnerships, local hiring, and connecting minority-owned businesses with opportunities, including in the skilled trades and affordable housing. We’re also interested in helping address barriers to minority business funding and building partnerships that support long-term growth.

Our work is grounded in a simple belief: when local and minority-owned businesses have a seat at the table, communities benefit. Bastion works to help make that possible.

How we work

Partners on
every project

  1. 01

    Joint venture partnerships

We join large projects as a development partner and bring minority-owned firms into the venture with us, so they build experience on work of real scale.

  2. 02

    Local hiring and the trades

We connect minority-owned businesses and local workers with opportunities in the skilled trades and affordable housing.

  3. 03

    Access to capital

Funding is often what holds minority-owned businesses back. We build partnerships that help close that gap and support long-term growth.

“The future of the real estate industry is to expand and flourish with even more diverse ideas, greater equity, and the people willing to do the work to keep the gates open.”
